The 9 7/8 X 9 A3R PROP (022001) is a three-blade Michigan Match propeller. It has a NAVAL brass spindle with a rubber-cushioned hub that lessens shock and tension caused by gear changes. The rubber bushing is designed to spin free in the event of a severe impact, reducing the chance of unit damage. Michigan Match propellers have a predominantly black power coach coating to assist minimize friction and protect the aluminum.
